It was so fun to have Brookside Elementary back to the studio. This time the 4th grade came to work on their Native American projects as experts in the areas of housing,food, instruments and more!
It was hands-on collaborative creating all the way!
This week in our Girls Club Class we put some focus on Social Media and Self as a follow up to our physical self ideas from last week. The girls made Faux Cell Phones and created apps for them the represent activities they can enjoy without being on their phones.
Top choices were baking, singing, dancing, bowling, diy crafting and making homemade ice cream to name a few. Everything was hands-on and had no space for a phone in hand.
It’s about how we feel when we are doing, not how others look.
Come on and CReATE with us. We’ve got a super simple project for you, “Easy Dry Erase Boards”. They are greT for leaving messages for family at home, writing a little reminder or an affirming thought. Come play!

It took 52 plastic lids to make this snake slither. That’s 52 bits of plastic not in a landfill and 52 commitments to imagination and creativity.
Making birthday party friends at CReATE is easy. A little imagination, some awesome supplies and it happens, crafty friends are made.
Google Glasses could take inspiration from these retro film negative shades. They were the go-to creation during our weekend birthday party fun.
