Weekly WOW!

Sometimes you just need a creative outlet after a long day of work and maybe a  place to explore it. aThat need motivated Sarkar to visit CReATE with a YouTube project on her mind.
Using a wine bottle, some string, and acrylic paint she has made a cool, sort of stained glass vase which she plans to add little twinkle lights to once she removes just the rope.
This project is sure to create an eye catching element to her home. I would love to see the finished product, though I love it just the way it is.

On the social scene we shared a kind sock snow person, a very healing jar, a cork blockhead and the nicest note to mom, all at @createstudio on istagram.

Owls can be so crafty…
Teacher Cathy was inspired to make this one after spotting a few owl varieties on our CReATE tree. Using mostly upholstery fabrics she layered together pleasing textiles for a faux feathery finnish that will look great in her home.
Even when we grow up it’s still so fun to play with raw materials. Only now, there is usually an intended finnish.

Nifty Note Pads!
Jazz them up or make them into a selection of paper planes. Paper is just good stuff!

We posted about the good old fashioned Thank You note, creating by natural light, memorable hand prints and wiring out ideas @createstudio on instagram last week.

Weekly WOW!

I imagine Henry Ford made many car creations or models in his day, even as a child. Maybe especially as a child. That would have been a brilliant way to work out ideas, trouble shoot challenges and just have all around fun with his visions.
Creating the idea(s) Jack had, making them into a 3D auto gave super support to his cleverness and likely made him feel a bit accomplished at the ripe old age of 9.
Forging ideas with everyday stuff sounds like great fun to me.

Weekly WOW!

When Joey came to the studio he saw a T.P. roll bat on our wall tree that really sparked his interest and he wanted to make his own. He took his time, he cut the wings out, painted the body and had fun adding special details to make a super cool bat. Then he was inspired to add one final element that really gave his bat a place to call home when he got an idea to make a creepy fence for his bat.
Little touches can make a big impact. Nicely Done.
