Please note we are closed today for Easter.
Glittery salt dough is magical fun for a messy toddler.
#30daysofreuse day 13 gets corky!
Keep your wine corks for all kinds of crafty fun. Make cork animals, a cork board or game pieces for play. They work great as-is or cut into smaller pieces. Go with where your imagination guides you.
These few corks became a giraffe in an African habitat.
It’s #30daysofreuse day 12 and we want to call your attention to stamps.
They come on most of your mail and they often have something to say! Hold onto them as you get them and USE them as a conversation piece at the dinner table; when were stamps invented and how much of the world actively uses them?
SAVE them for reuse in art, or turn them into a crafty gift tag. Stamps are super cool and collectible too! Check out our reuse ideas this month on instagram @createstudio
It’s Easy Project Wednesday at CReATE and Today we’ve a fun one. Come in and make mini Pom Pom Pets! We’ve got puff balls galore.
So fun!
We’re open 11am-6pm
Regular studio fees apply.
Let’s rethink our metals! This sweet steamer basket owl was one of many awesome owl creations at our Pinspired Night last night and it serves as another reminder that reuse has boundless benefits.
An cast off steamer basket got an updo to become a friendly garden owl who will no doubt see many outdoor seasons to come.
We have wonderful resources for our needs and pleasures right under our noses every day. They may just require an open minded view of them once their first task is done.
Our Glitter, Glue and Sparkle Fashion Show made the Acorn paper! What a fun treat. Thank you Michael Coons and @acornnewspaper for sharing our community event!
Thanks to Ascension Lutheran School K-2nd grade classes for welcoming CReATE to their campus today for hands-on project fun with an emphasis on new life. They were awesome creators who met their creative goals to make everything from eggs in nests to insects to blossoming trees! Way to go learners!
Creativity is in the eye of the beholder and that’s exactly how these kids brought their “blueprint drawing” to life. Their drawings have them a self guide instruction manual as one student put it, to help them achieve their goals and compete their projects in a stress free, self motivated way. Now that’s learning fun!
Brody had a great idea to visit CReATE STUDIO for materials for a school project he is doing at home.
We had a great idea to offer him a CReATE ON YOUR CAMPUS Fill-A-Bag that he could use to collect the materials he would need.
We ask for a $10 donation that goes right to our C.O.Y.C program which gets campuses set up with easy reuse systems for their campus materials, establishing endless possibilities for creativity in project based learning or in an open-ended way.
This way he can work at his pace at home. Maybe he spends an afternoon working or, a few snippets of time over the weekend. He took a bit of CReATE with him and has it at his disposal and we like that our bag is ready when his creativity is ready.
What a win!
