We’re on a mission!

With a little help from mom and I Tiana turnes a moving box into Mission San Buenaventura in all its glory. Recreating historical buildings is cool.

Inspiring…

A visit to SFMOMA left me inspired. This piece by Chuck Close was right up my alley of interest being composed entirely of paper. Fantastic!

Museums  have a wonderful way of sharing the creativity flow of artists who are true to their inner song, and letting us sing along.

So Natural…

As part of their “Nature Patch” Troop 61236 worked collaboratively to make a “Talking Stick” out of a fallen Branch and more. With it they will get to work on the art of taking turns speaking and listening at their meetings.

Accept this Mission!

It was a pleasure to watch this mission come to life today, one piece of cardboard at a time.

4th grader Jacquimo outdid himself in his mission making. There are even upside down pinecones portraying palm trees. Wow!

Sock Friend

She used to be a sock until she came to the studio. Now she is the happiest  little sock lady in town.

I have a feeling the little girl who made her was quite happy too since she got to spend some creative time connecting with her dad to make this fine creation. Quality time.

#createhearts

Spotted this in the parking lot outside our studio. Someone is spreading love, one crochet panel at a time. What the world needs now is love…we’re feelin’ it.

Making Motion…

E.A.R.T.H.S. students visited CReATE to make creations and contraptions that represent movement. There were aircraft, spacecraft, motorcycles and more.
