Creating at home idea number 8- find a table you you can get messy!
There’s a good chance you have an old coffee table, work bench or dining table at home that has been worked over by life, so add some color, some doodles or scratches and make it your creativity table, a space for projects that require some free thinking.
A messy, marked up table is like a porthole to new ideas and fresh perspectives. We know this to be true.

A group of ladies visited the studio for a “Self Care Sunday” today where they made canvas expressions that fed their creative wells. Magazine pages, this and that put together vintage just the right way for each. They made beauty that matched their hearts and filled mine. WOW!

I just LOVED @flygurl_designs tea towel stamping night at CReATE and this collage she posted of some highlights. I wanted to take every towel home.
We will be doing a project night together again for sure!
Sewing by hand and by machine comes in handy for so many occasions like fixing the seat of your favorite jeans on the practical side or making a gift to give or our favorite occasion, just for the fun of it making something you dream up. We can’t say enough how valuable and useful this skill set is. Let’s sew!

What an inspired night! The theme was merry. Bursts of sunshine and happy words filled the studio as creativity flowed. Photo blocks, plate stands and clothespins with words were the hit and connection between new friends and old was the gift.

We had Potter fever tonight.
Poof! Our Family Fun Night was a hit with glittery, wand making, potion crafting fun.
So excited to have artist and friend @flygurl_designs teach a “Hand Stamped Tea Towels” class at CReATE on Thursday, September 8th from 7-10pm for adults and teens.
Note the tea towel samples pictured with Renee in our studio window display. They are so cool and practical too!

Woo Hoo! It’s TGIF
Join us for Messy Toddler Fun at 10am making Plastic Lid Mosics – $11 per toddler.
Then we’ve got open ended art fun from 11am to *5pm-regular studio fees apply.
Lastly, we’re ready for Family Fun Night at CReATE from *5 to 8pm $5 per creator. We have a Harry Potter Theme to make Potion Bottles and Wands!
