At our birthday parties grown-ups tend to join in on the creative fun . This sock diva trio is case in point.
Dress up a sock with a bit of blind and it’s all good.
It’s so fun to watch adults tinker and explore the way they might have moons ago. We tend to get away from our creatively playful side as we grown into grown-uphood but we need this. We need to listen to our creative core. The whole world would be the better for it.

Making memories is our favorite kind of creative fun.
A gang of girls came to the studio yesterday as part of a birthday adventure for Chloe. They found the Material of the week bin stocked with IKEA frames right away and got busy makin’ art!
It was a flurry of activity as the clock ticked to closing and feathers and glitter went flying. The girls had a blast and now, a memento from part of their excellent adventure with Chloe.

CReATE STUDIO turned 5 years old today. The studio began as a seed (an idea in my head) and grew into a little sapling (my garage) and has steadily grown roots since then. What a wonderful journey it has been so far, with so much goodness in store.
We have grown this much I know, into a place where are people are creating equally.
Our roots are growing strong.
Every once in a while there is an anonymous creation left at the studio after a birthday party. This one gave me a big smile. This cute kitty has a sweet disposition and and a fuzzy carpet tail. I love to see where imaginations go.
