Friday, October 14, 2016We’re so glad we added Hand Sewing to our Sewing Class line-up. It is such a valuable hands-on skill for the whole spectrum of creative expression from practicle repairing or button sewing to making clothes or a mixed media mash-up. A taste of Home-Ec never hurt anybody.

Each week we’ve got a different hands on crafty project to explore and make.

Today marks the start of our October Sewing class series!
We’re excited to help beginning sewers get familiar with their machine sewing skills during our Intro To Machine Sewing class beginning today at 4pm.
This Thursday we’ll have our Machine Sewing TWO class for kids who want to explore Project Sewing. It also starts at 4pm. Both classes are great for building a love of machine sewing to last a lifetime.
For those interested in hand sewing, we offer a one session Hand Sewing class next Wednesday. This is a great fit for all ages. Maybe hand sewing is on your bucket list!

At CReATE we love to explore ways to fortify creativity. Hand sewing is one of the coolest skills we know for expressing creativity. Once you can work a needle and thread you can do just about anything, sew a button that fell off, make a costume or even make a funky sock monster. The sky’s the limit here.
