At our Wednesday Girls Club class at CReATE, when life gives you lemons you make cute and tasty lemonade! Resourcefulness can reap sweet rewards.
Out of the mouth of babes. Finley calls it like she sees it. We think it has a nice ring to it too.
Our birthday banner artist Ashley always creates the coolest scenes for birthday kids. Aunny got Aliens, outter space and space cats for her party today. They are some of her favorite things. So Fun!
Tomorrow’s a workshop day at CReATE for interested kid, teen and adult models and makers for our upcoming Glitter, Glue and Sparkle Fashion Show (March 25th at 2pm).
From 2-4pm we’ll have lots of fixings for making costumes. Paper, cardboard, fabric, and other fine stuff. Make is simple or make fancy, just make it your way! We’re asking for a $10 donation to participate which goes right to Casa Pacifica, the beneficiary of our fine show.
It’s a good deed event and lots of fun too!

Let’s have a shout out for using our voices! In honor of International Women’s Day yesterday the girls club gals made paper megaphones from old file folders. They spoke loud and proud!
It’s Leprechauns season and James is on it! To catch a Leprechaun the deal is to make the trap tricky and eye catching. Covered!
With a little help from mom and I Tiana turnes a moving box into Mission San Buenaventura in all its glory. Recreating historical buildings is cool.
As part of their “Nature Patch” Troop 61236 worked collaboratively to make a “Talking Stick” out of a fallen Branch and more. With it they will get to work on the art of taking turns speaking and listening at their meetings.
It was a pleasure to watch this mission come to life today, one piece of cardboard at a time.
4th grader Jacquimo outdid himself in his mission making. There are even upside down pinecones portraying palm trees. Wow!
