Getting some people together for a crafty night where inspiration is the name of the game and creativity wins it all we made last night. The attendees were Pinspired for sure. There were pumpkins and votives and potions galore. The spirit of Fall and Halloween swirled abounded as we created the night away.
We had the coolest day with Brookside 5th graders today. They visited us as inventors crafting items what would have been helpful to Native Indian cultures long ago.
The students came to the studio with blueprints of their inventions, ready to build and make! These are the movers and shakers of our future.
We’re in good hands.
We love Halloween and all its wares.
One of our favorites is D.I.Y. costume making. Step into the world of make believe with a costume you create from our costume cart. We’ve got lots of fixins’ on hand to get your imagination soaring!
What a night of pretty creations we had last night! The February Friday Pinspired ladies must be so proud of these lovely things. It is so fun to walk around the studio during our crafty nights, seeing how creativity unfolds. One guest asked if she could make a project her own way or if she had to follow the project idea. I told her, “go your own way, that’s exactly what you’re here for.”
I can’t wait to do it again and see what the Saturday (2/13) Pinspired creators do.

Loving Linda’s Pinterest inspiration at our Stroller Strides ladies night tonight.In our opinion, having a little creative me time makes for a happier and more present mama.
Loving our no-sew t shirt tote!
This makes reuse idea number 7 for creating at home.
All you need is a tshirt that is ok to cut and a pair of good scissors.
Cut out the neck a little deeper than the neckline then cut off the sleeves and your on your way! Those cuts become your tote opening and handles!
Cut fringe in about 3/4″ widths around the whole bottom of the tshirt- vertically. We made ours about 4″tall. Then tie one front fringe to one back fringe all the way across the bottom of the shirt and you’ve got a groovy bag! You can do fancy knotting or add beads or other embellishments to bling it up too.

At 11am we open up for drop-in fun where everyone creates their way. Regular studio fees apply.
Then, it’s time for grown-up fun.
It’s our Pinspired Night for September with 5 project inspirations and the materials to make them -7-10pm. Tap into your creativity and join us. No artistic experience necessary.

Trees are just good stuff-the tree of life as they say.
We need more trees but this beauty will do in a pinch.
Splatter paint, some cardboard (that was a tree) and fake foliage make a harmonious statement to dream. Let’s dream on…
