Pop Up Shop Today

​We’re so excited to have Dap Kid here with us today.They’ve set up a cute Pop-up shop of European kids clothes right here at our studio!

Drop in -do a bit of creating and a bit of shopping to really fill your soul today.

Dap Kid will be here all crafternoon.

D.I.Y. at Home…

​Have any egg cartons laying around? This egg carton owl is a super cool diy-at-home project that we like to use at the studio all the time.

To make it, grab an egg carton and cut the lid  away from the tray then cut it on half. One half becomes the owl body.

Then, cut the tray side of the carton into sections of two across. One set of two tray cups becomes the eyes (you get many more eyes than bodies with each carton)

Then, set the two eyes onto the half lid at the cut end and glue in place.

Now you have an owl!

Lastly, find stuff that’s ok to use or reuse at home to jazz  up your owl to your liking.

In conjunction with Cindy Wiliams of Girls Club we’ll be hosting a cool self esteem craft opportunity from 5-7pm at the GNO event put on by The City of Agoura Hills so stop by our table, it’s free !
Then,
It’s our Pinspired Night for grown up fun from 7-10. We’ve got 5 great Pinterest Projects to make and take so bring a friend or come solo and create!
$25 person. R.S.V.P. a must!

It’s TWO for ONE Tuesday!
Come spend some time with us. Bring a friend or bring a family member because two create for the price of one from 11am-6pm today!

Today

going to be a super Saturday. We have lots of ways to create with you today.
Catch our FREE fun and funky art booth at the Hope4Kids Festival and run from 8am-2pm at the Camarillo Community Park.
Jemma will be speaking (with a translator) to the Spanish community at Ladera Elementary this morning from 9-12 about the importance of art for their children.
We’ll have a FREE craft table making popcicle stick people at The First Five Family Picnic at the Thousand Oaks Community Park from 12-3
And,
Open-ended art fun at the studio from 12-5. We look forward to enjoying a beautiful art filled day with you in our community.

Family time

An important undertone at CReATE has always been connection.
Time spent with people you love and value is essential to each of us in order to flourish in life. Creativity is an easy way to build on the bonds we have established and sparks beginnings for new ones.
We see it first hand but we want to see more. We want to get the whole family in the mix, to create a ripple effect that you’ll take home at the end of your visit.

Join us tonight for some family time.5-8pm-All creators are $5.00, no matter if they are small or tall. Bring a pizza, wear pajamas! Get creative and collaborate. You will be so glad you did. It’s a long term investment.
