Kali was determined to bring these poor lenseless glasses back to life.
Sometimes solutions are simple and she could see that so popcicle sticks were the obvious choice. With their clean lines these glasses are ready to wear. I think she has a future in eyewear. It stared with a creative spark.

We’ve got some interesting materials on hand but they are so much more interesting when they are put together in inspired ways.
These guys are a byproduct of father son time spent well. If you look closely you can see the miriad of materials that make them up.
We had Potter fever tonight.
Poof! Our Family Fun Night was a hit with glittery, wand making, potion crafting fun.
So excited to have artist and friend @flygurl_designs teach a “Hand Stamped Tea Towels” class at CReATE on Thursday, September 8th from 7-10pm for adults and teens.
Note the tea towel samples pictured with Renee in our studio window display. They are so cool and practical too!

Join us for Messy Toddler Fun at 10am making Plastic Lid Mosics – $11 per toddler.
Then we’ve got open ended art fun from 11am to *5pm-regular studio fees apply.
Lastly, we’re ready for Family Fun Night at CReATE from *5 to 8pm $5 per creator. We have a Harry Potter Theme to make Potion Bottles and Wands!

Create it at home idea 5; “Utencil People”.
You’re bound to have stray plastic cutlery around the house. Use them to make fun and funky characters with random stuff other you have around the house (check with parents on this). Use tape, glue or even wire to attach items to your Utencil, do a little doodling and you’re done!
Bonus idea, use a box to make a state and have a puppet show to entertain your family, friends or pets.
