Thankful day 19 is about celebrations. There are many occasions to celebrate; first steps, graduations, raises and of course, birthdays to name a few. We are grateful to be a part of the special celebrations of the birthday variety. Hurray for celebrations!
Thankful day 19 is about music and all of the depth and beauty it brings to our days. Whether you play it or listen it goes on the grateful list for the way it makes our lives fuller. Thank you Lexi (8) the guitar maker for this reminder.
Thankful day 18 is about resourcefulness. We all have it in us. Resoyrcefullness turns a rainy day into a sunny day or some cardboard scraps into the best board game ever!

We had a blast bringing our non-profit, CReATE ON YOUR CAMPUS reuse sensibilities to OPEN Classroom for a hands-on assembly to paint, cut, build, play, sort and rub with the cast offs that typically cross campus paths. Everything we used had been considered used up until we got our hands on them.
Thankful day 14 is about being grateful that we have people to care about. Show someone you care for how much they mean to you.
Thankful day 13 is about the goodness a mess can make. It’s an in the moment kind of thing. Living and being all in one.
The clean up afterwards has its own rewards.
Thankful day 12 is Creating at home idea number 11- make a Thanksgiving pop-up card to send to family near or far.
You’ll need two pieces of paper that you can color or paint, markers, pencils or paint and glue (a glue stick and 8x11size paper works great)
Before creating your design lay the two pieces together and fold them in half, sideways.
Then, take the top of the inside paper and at the fold line, fold it diagnally like a triangle-you choose how big or small this fold will be . It will be the pop-out part of your card.
Then decorate your papers as you would like, one to be the inside of the card and one to be the outside, and glue them together leaving the top pop-out corner free to move facing inward.
Presto, you have a cool card to share!
Thankful day 10 is for all the cool quotes that cross our paths. Look around, they are there to lift us, inspire us and motivate us.
Our Girls Club project today touched on courage and the badges of such for each of the girls that shines brightly for it (with a little help from the glitter). Let’s do our best to be kind, strong, honest, helpful, fair, to perservere, to give, stand up and speak up when we are called on to be courageous.
Thankful day 9 is about appreciating art. It makes the world a more colorful place. Thank you @stephcohenartist for your contribution in making it so.
