Last week we climbed to new heights, met a punk rock, watched kid cartoonists at work, watched Kobe make a jump sot and enjoyed some traveling creativity @createstudio on instagram.
Fishing Line, perfect for anything that should be invisible, would make awesome angel hair or, in this tangled state, a soft nest for a bird!
The possibilities are endless with this wacky string.
Melissa crafted this “Punk Rock” while hanging out at a birthday party with her daughter. I love her fresh take on rock art! It was fun to watch her being inspired as she let her creativity unfold into this little darlin’ with snips of feathers, some wacky fabric and a little polly pocket shoe. Rock on!

Art, crafts and homespun fun were the name of the game @createstudio on instagram with our weekly wrap up.
CD Cases!
Not just jewel cases, but cases with history, music playlists and more. They make great photo frames, keepsake boxes or just a trip down memory lane…
Kala had a great time creating at our last Pinspired Night. She gathered and pondered the projects she wanted to make with special care. As she settled on the no-water snow globe project I noted that she painted an animal white to match her snowy idea of who was to live in her glass jar. She enjoyed her playful process of creating this simply pretty setting where I can almost hear wind whistling through the pines.

We continued our #Thirtydaysofthanks and the grateful reminders along the way, enjoyed traditions, big sky, seasonal fun, and a little news in 805 Living Magazine @createstudio last week.
These Ceramic Whale Lids were so much fun to create with a few weeks back, we decided to feature them again! They look great when embellished or added to a bigger project. They are sure to be a hit again this week!
I was wowed!
I asked Sienna what inspired her to create her winter wonderland scene. She couldn’t say for sure. It wasn’t just one thing that triggered the idea. It just came to her as she walked around the studio. This is the kind of wondrous nature that inspired the weekly wow posts. Processes unfold for creators in an ever awesome way. Sometimes it is one item that creates the spark and sometimes it is a bunch of different things together. The gift in it all is that it happens. This is the wow, the process of sticking with an inspiration and letting it come to life.
