Loud and Proud

Let’s have a shout out for using our voices! In honor of International Women’s Day yesterday the girls club gals made paper megaphones from old file folders. They spoke loud and proud!

Thank You!

Couldn’t resist reposting this message today.

I have been influenced and inspired by so many women I have know and that I have never met. THANK YOU!!!!

Love

Sundays are always good days to reflect. This is my Sunday toasted bagel sneaking a little bagel love my way. It’s clear that while the month of love had passed the need for love is ever present. Pass a little love from you heart to someone else tomorrow, a friend, a stranger. Love loves us all equally.

Crafty!

It’s always Pinspiring to see what ladies create at our Pinspired nights.

It’s a Trap!

It’s Leprechauns season and James is on it! To catch a Leprechaun the deal is to make the trap tricky and eye catching. Covered!

We’re on a mission!

With a little help from mom and I Tiana turnes a moving box into Mission San Buenaventura in all its glory. Recreating historical buildings is cool.

Inspiring…

A visit to SFMOMA left me inspired. This piece by Chuck Close was right up my alley of interest being composed entirely of paper. Fantastic!

Museums  have a wonderful way of sharing the creativity flow of artists who are true to their inner song, and letting us sing along.

#createhearts

Tomato heart love. Are you with us on Instagram? Check out the #createhearts hashtag to see the hearts we see and hashtag your own. We love hearts and we see them everywhere!

So Natural…

As part of their “Nature Patch” Troop 61236 worked collaboratively to make a “Talking Stick” out of a fallen Branch and more. With it they will get to work on the art of taking turns speaking and listening at their meetings.

Accept this Mission!

It was a pleasure to watch this mission come to life today, one piece of cardboard at a time.

4th grader Jacquimo outdid himself in his mission making. There are even upside down pinecones portraying palm trees. Wow!
