Creating at home idea 6.
Make wrapping paper out of magazine or newspaper pages for something fun when gift giving. The paper can be jazzed up with a little ribbon, yarn, washi tape or even a sprig from your garden. It’s a bonus to watch your gift recipient trying to figure out what it is before unwrapping too!

To think I almost overlooked it’s beautiful shade in my busy lunch making mode.
Color is what makes life more beautiful, more emotional and more pleasing for me. I am inspired to keep my eyes wide open and see the world more frequently from a place of wonder.
Kali was determined to bring these poor lenseless glasses back to life.
Sometimes solutions are simple and she could see that so popcicle sticks were the obvious choice. With their clean lines these glasses are ready to wear. I think she has a future in eyewear. It stared with a creative spark.

At CReATE we love to explore ways to fortify creativity. Hand sewing is one of the coolest skills we know for expressing creativity. Once you can work a needle and thread you can do just about anything, sew a button that fell off, make a costume or even make a funky sock monster. The sky’s the limit here.

Kids love to create fun spaces, like 3 dimensional vision boards of places they would like to be or go. Sometimes they look like something out of Elle Decor Magazine-fresh and modern.
What an inspired night! The theme was merry. Bursts of sunshine and happy words filled the studio as creativity flowed. Photo blocks, plate stands and clothespins with words were the hit and connection between new friends and old was the gift.
