Make a costume…

If you could design and make your own outfit or costume, what would it be like? Start draming…

Our costume cart is a great place for kids to tap into their big ideas to make wearable art or just to goof around with fabrics and other costume wares.

Costume fun is great all year!

Fairy Fun

There’s always time for make believe…

Wouldn’t it be nice to walk up this fairy house path and stop in for afternoon tea.sometimes, a moment of imagining makes life a little sweeter. The details of this tiny house becon company to come and visit and that was half the fun of creating it I think too.

D.I.Y. Rubber Stamps!

Cork stamps!

This makes a fun “reuse at home” activity.

Grab a few corks you may have laying around and some cardboard or foamy stickers to cut into shapes and top the corks. Stick them on and your ready to stamp. Fun!

Field Trip Fun…

Had a blast with our CVUSD summer camp field trip kids . This cardboard baseball cap was one of so many clever creations. This crew really knew how to let their creativity fly.

Cardboard…

Just a couple of gals hangin’ around by Sage (5)

You know how they say that on Christmas day the kids play with the box more than they play with the toy inside? There is just something special about cardboard that draws kids in. It is a sturdy blank slate that almost asks the child “how may I serve you”. Maybe it’s even like a magic carpet that transports them off to different lands.
I don’t know exactly what happens between children and cardboard. I just know it’s magic.
