Through instagram we share sightings of creativity we see both in the studio and on the go. Last week we caught sight of creativity on the form of a new reclaimed space, time in the process of creating, a family tree that branches out, a walk to work day of the feathery sort, a shadow of love, building confidence, field trip fun and a gift @createstudio where a little imagination goes a long way.

Sydney made this family tree for her mom for Mothers Day with tiles denoting the many members on the tree. Her project was ambitious in many ways beyond tracking family traces as it stands 3 feet tall on a thick styrofoam board. She painstakingly paper punched hundreds of tiny leaves to scatter about making it extra treelike. I know her mama must love this gift from the heart with a creative soul.

These pics from our Pinspired Night on Friday remind me of the importance of giving to ourselves as morhers and women who give of ourselves to the people we love and our world.
It’s wonderful to have a day were we are celebrated by others but equally important to celebrate ourselves regularly by letting our creativity shine in whatever way it wants to. It doesn’t matter if it’s art or excerside or organization etc. Honoring us helps us honor others.

It’s our Pinspired Night for grown up fun from 7-10. We’ve got 5 great Pinterest Projects to make and take so bring a friend or come solo and create!

Whew, time flies. We’re almost through another week of catching creativity but first, a recap of last week’s instagram posts we’ve shared. We made cardboard faces, got rallied with activity posters, met a funky rock, walked through natures confetti, became quite happening and had halloween fun @createstudio.
