Sunday, July 19, 2015What a busy week @createstudio. We explored potato stamping, splatter painting, made a Christmas tree, did a little work from home, made a message in a bottle, said I love you, got stamped and made toys for kitties. We had a blast on instagram.
Weekly WOW!
Saturday, July 18, 2015There is a saying I like; “The happiest people don’t have the best of everything, they make the best with everything they have” Unknown.
Ingrid knows this and by those means, she created these kitty cat toys for her furry friends at home. She wins the award for best use of bread closures on her cat rattle for sure, not to mention the zip-tie chain of fun!. What fun to create something to share, something that can bring joy to another. That is what creating does, it gives.

This little treasure is a great use of random studio materials! Looks like we have everything from the kitchen counter tile bits to wine corks to happy meal toys to vitamin boxes to bottle caps and more. They were put together in a clever way to become a horse and rider off to grand adventures I am sure.

Unstructured
Sunday, July 5, 2015My friend Debi sent me this blog article from Education Week Teachers 2014 post on giving kids unstructured space. I always knew that was a good idea so that’s what we do. The benefits are unbound.
