Delovely

Pretty blue carnations made from just tissue paper and yarn. Reusing simple materials can be so pretty.

Reminds me of one of my favorite quotes; “The happiest people don’t have the best of everything. They make the best of everything they have.”

Fun!

We love  our little backpack pals! They are just perfect as a first day of school buddy when you have lots of new experiences ahead.

These little treasurered characters are just one of the fun projects we do at our Girls Club-Confidence and Creativity classes.

Save the date for our new enrichment series that spans 13 weeks on short day Wednesdays from 1-2:45pm beginning next Wednesday 8/31.

Check out girlsclubstrong.com for details.

Creating at home #5

Create it at home idea 5; “Utencil People”.

You’re bound to have stray plastic cutlery around the house. Use them to make fun and funky characters with random stuff other you have around the house (check with parents on this). Use tape, glue or even wire to attach items to your Utencil, do a little doodling and you’re done!

Bonus idea, use a box to make a state and have a puppet show to entertain your family, friends or pets.

”Conversation Cards”

These unique cardboard cards are great to color or paint and sure to start some fun conversations too. Try them this week!

Weekly WOW!

This little mermaid began with a spark  when Amanda  found the rock. Ah, She had a vision, she  saw a mermaid even when there wasn’t one yet.

Made of lofty tissue paper and a cork & 1/2,  this little mermaid was born. She has no features so that each person who sees her can choose their own emotion for her.

Love that!

Pretend…

If you need an evening pick-me-up just make one.

I would have loved this as a girl when my favorite way to play was in a big box city with faux food and more to make our scene feel real.

Big Ideas…

Have an idea? Something to fit a need like this one that keeps glasses in a safe spot while not in use.

Your ideas are awesome and worth exploring.

Bring them to CReATE  and make them real. Your entrepreneurial spirit is waiting…

Yes to mess!

Our Messy Toddler Art Fun classes are always fun with both planned and spontaneous messes in store.

Join us tomorrow (8/19) for Paper Bag Octopus making and likely some spray bottle fun too.

See you at 10am at CReATE STUDIO!

Try-it!

A little slice of pumpkin pie and a cup of joe would be lovely about now.

Polymer clay is our featured medium on the Try-it cart this month.
