Can’t wait!

Feeling Inspired…

Duing a YMCA summer camp visit to the yesterday I caught this sight of a boy sketching out his future. I think he was inspired by the sheet of scarbook paper he grabbed from our printed paper colletction.

Now he has outlined his future in a manner of visual goal setting and he may not even know it yet.

Happy Birthday!

We love to celebrate with groups both big and small. Creativity is the name of the game and fun is the goal!

The memories leave with you and the mess stays with us.

Dorm Decor…

Do you have a student heading off to college next month? Bring them to CReATE to D.I.Y. their dorm room. We’ve got lots of cool stuff to make banners, signs and more for decor galore!

We’re open Tuesday-Friday 11-6 and weekends 12-5

Weekly WOW!

This was a father/daughter deal. Marvin and his girls, Tesla (7) and Marlowe (3) undertook the task of building a rendition of the Eiffle Tower. It was quite impressive to watch their process. There was the building aspect (hats off to architects for making things stand), then there was the assemblage process of adding tiny trinkets and treasures like barbie shoes, gems, buttons and more. That was what the girls took on. That was were the real magic happened. The whole project is where memories were made.
Wow, what a treasure!

Sewing…

The family that sews together, plays together. Spending time learning something new together fosters relationship connection and fun. We offer sewing classes for groups and individuals to build hobbie habits and skills that nurture creativity.
Let’s sew!

Make it!

Do your kids have characters from virtual games they love?
Bring them to CReATE to make their characters come to life! It’s a great was to take a mental activity and make it physical by creating a vision to play with.

Art at Home…

Here’s a fun D.I.Y. at home idea for preteens and teens.

Try art journaling with things around the house. Take a composition book or other blank book (lined paper ok) and use it as a creative outlet with doodles, magazine page clippings, markers, stickers or paint. Just about any material can turn crafty with a little imagination. It’s a fun way to express ideas, feelings or like my daughter did here, a collage of favorite movie characters. So fun!

Happy Tuesday!

Let’s celebrate today with our weekly special, Two for One Tuesday!

Bring two to create and pay for just one!
